Newton-Le-Willows and its High Street have a fantastic history.

Here's a 1960s view of Jasmine's Gifts and how it looked back in the day.

Jasmine's is the shop to the right of the mini, it used to be a tabacconist and sweet shop called Beauden's in the 60s and 70s. To the left, which is now MSA architects, was the 'Ye olde tea rooms' and then the shop further to the left was a shoe shop. To the right of the tabacconist, we believe this was a dog grooming parlour.

If you take a closer look, you can see a police man with his bicycle, maybe he's heading into the tobacconist for 20 woodbines!
